Chittoor: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Naramalli Sivaprasad from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) won the elections by a margin of 44138 votes. The polling / voting in Chittoor constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telugu Desam Party#s Naramalli Sivaprasad and YSR Congress Party#s Reddappa

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telugu Desam Party won 15 out of the 25 parliamentary seat with 29.1 percent vote share while the YSR Congress Party managed to win just 8 seats with a 28.9 percent vote share.
