Chandni Chowk: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Harsh Vardhan from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 136320 votes. The polling / voting in Chandni Chowk constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dr. Harshwardhan and Congress Party#s J P Agarwal

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 7 out of the 7 parliamentary seat with 46.4 percent vote share while the Aam Aadmi Party managed to win just seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

Out of the 25 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chandni Chowk, 22 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Dr. Harsh Vardhan of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Ashutosh by a margin of 136320 votes.

• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 79415 votes INC candidate Kapil Sibal had got 127396 while BJP got Smriti Z. Iraani votes.
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 1995 votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 4349 votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 22244 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Jai Parkash Agarwal attained 92634 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate J.K. Jain bagged 70390 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 2774 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janta Party here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Bharatiya Janta Party counterpart with a difference of 9431 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 47076 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Jai Parkash Agarwal attained 122069 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Sikander Bakht bagged 74993 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP candidate with a difference of 17235 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Bhiku Ram Jain attained 100624 votes and JNP candidate Sikander Bakht bagged 83389 votes
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Sikander Bakht attained 185850 votes and INC's Subhadra Joshi bagged 69861 votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated BJS candidate with a difference of 45223 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Subhadra Joshi attained 88907 votes and BJS candidate Ram Gopal Shalwale bagged 43684 votes
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 17150 votes. Here, BJS leader R. Gopal attained 58928 votes and INC candidate S. Nath bagged 41778 votes
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JS candidate with a difference of 28948 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Sham Nath attained 69508 votes and JS candidate Amrit Lal Jindal bagged 40560 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated BJS candidate with a difference of 14397 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Radha Raman attained 50758 votes and BJS candidate Basant Rao bagged 36361 votes
