University Of Hyderabad Admissions 2023: Application Process For PG Programmes Underway, Apply By August 12

The online application process for University of Hyderabad Admissions 2023 for PG courses is underway. Candidates interested in taking up PG, Integrated PhD programmes can apply online on the official website - acad.uohyd.ac.in. For the academic session starting 2023, the UoH is offering a total of 43 PG (Master’s) programmes and 2 Integrated M.Sc - PhD programmes. The university started inviting applications for admissions to its PG courses from August 1 onwards. The last date to apply for University of Hyderabad PG Admissions 2023 is August 12, 2023. 

"The aspiring candidates may apply online on the University academic website link http://acad.uohyd.ac.in/, wherein application fee, prospectus, schedule of admission, online application, etc. are available. The last date for applying online to PG/IMScPhD programs is 12th August 2023," reads a press release on the official website. 

The University of Hyderabad has a total of 1,346 seats on offer for the 2023 academic session including all the 43 PG and 2 Integrated M.Sc - PhD programmes combined. The shortlisting of candidates for admissions shall be done on the basis of the CUET-PG 2023 Scores of applicants. While applying though, candidates from the General category will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 300. The application fee for EWS / OBC-NCL category candidates is Rs 200, while that for SC / ST / PWD candidates is Rs 125. 

As per the official schedule, the merit list of shortlisted candidates for counselling for non-interview PG programmes shall be announced on September 5, 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be required to report at the university from September 11 to 13, 2023. Classes for such programmes are scheduled to begin from September 15, 2023. 

For PG programmes which include an interview round, the list of shortlisted candidates for interviews shall be released on August 21, 2023. The interviews of shortlisted candidates will be held from August 30 to September 1, 2023. The counselling merit list of selected candidates will be released on September 7, and physical reporting for admission counselling and admissions shall be conducted on September 14, 2023. Classes are scheduled to begin from September 15, and the admission process is scheduled to be closed on September 22.
