UGC Recruitment 2019: Deputy Secretary & Education Officer posts, earn upto 2 LPA

UGC had invited online applications earlier this month to fill 4 vacancies for the post of Deputy Secretary and 2 vacancies for the post of Education Officer via direct recruitment.

UGC Recruitment 2019: The University Grants Commission is scheduled to close the online application process for the posts of Deputy Secretary and Education Officer next week on Friday, 5th April 2019. UGC  had invited online applications earlier this month to fill 4 vacancies for the post of Deputy Secretary and 2 vacancies for the post of Education Officer via direct recruitment. Interested candidates must submit their online applications on or before 5th April 2019, and then send the hard copy of their application form to UGC through proper channel by 12th April 2019, next month. Eligibility Criteria: Deputy Secretary: The applicant must possess first class Master’ Degree of a recognized University with a good academic record, along with minimum 7 years’ experience of teaching/ research in University or college or Educational Administration in higher education. S/he must be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department. Education Officer: The applicant must possess at least second class Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University, along with five years of experience of teaching/research/Educational Administration. Age-Limit: Deputy Secretary: the applicant must be below 45 years of age as on 12th April 2019. Education Officer: the applicant must be below 40 years of age as on 12th April 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below: Official advertisement for UGC Recruitment 2019 for Deputy Secretary and Education Officer Posts Pay Scale: Deputy Secretary: The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-12 i.e. Rs.78,800-2,09,200/- per month plus usual allowances as applicable to central government employees. Education Officer: The selected candidates will be placed in Pay level-11 i.e. Rs.67,700-2,08,700/- per month plus usual allowances as applicable to central government employees. For both the posts, candidates drawing higher pay in pay level will be eligible for protection of pay in the pay level attached to the post.
