UGC NET 2024 June Exam Date Revised, Check New Date Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam date for UGC-NET 2024 examination.

UGC NET 2024 June Exam Date Revised: The National Testing Agency (NTA) and UGC have jointly agreed to reschedule the UGC-NET examination from June 16 to June 18, 2024. "The National Testing Agency and UGC have decided to shift the UGC-NET from 16 June (Sunday) to 18 June 2024 (Tuesday) because of feedback received from candidates. NTA will conduct UGC-NET in OMR mode across India on a single day. NTA will soon issue a formal notification," said UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar in a post on X.

The National Testing Agency will soon release an official notice regarding this revised schedule on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

As per the information bulletin, the registration process for the UGC NET 2024 exam is underway and candidates can submit their application by May 10, 2024.

Steps To Apply For UGC NET June 2024 Registration 

To register for UGC NET June 2024, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the UGC NET at ugcnet.ntaonline.in.

Step 2: Click on 'New Candidate Register Here'.

Step 3: Fill out the application form by entering personal information, educational qualifications, and other required details.

Step 4:
 Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specified format and size.

Step 5:
Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form.

Step 7:
 Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

UGC NET 2024 Application Fee

According to the NTA, Candidates from the general category need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,150 to apply for the NET exam. For candidates from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), the application fee is Rs 600. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and third-gender candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 325.
