TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023: Registrations To Start Tomorrow On lawcet.tsche.ac.in - See Details

The Osmania University, Hyderabad, will open the online registration window for TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023, tomorrow, March 2, 2023. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply for TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023 on the official website - lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates will be able to register and apply for the TS LAWCET 2023 and TS PGLCET 2023 up to April 6, 2023. 

As per the official schedule, the TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023 Exam will be held on May 25, 2023. The exam will be conducted by the Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). 

The application fee for TS LAWCET 2023 is Rs 900, while the application fee for TS PGLCET 2023 is Rs 1,100. However, the application fee for SC/CT/PwD candidates is Rs 600 for TS LAWCET 2023, and Rs 900 for TS PGLCET 2023. 

As per the official notification, the TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023 Exam will be conducted at 202 centres across the state of Telangana. The TS LAWCET 2023 Exam will be conducted in English/Telugu, and English/Urdu languages. However, the TS PGLCET 2023 Exam will be conducted in the English language only.

What Are The TS LAWCET And TS PGLCET Exams? 

Notably, the TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET Exams are conducted every year at the Telangana state-level for screening candidates for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes, offered by several universities, colleges and institutions across the state of Telangana. 

The TS LAWCET Exam is conducted for shortlisting for 3-year LLB and 5-Year B.A LLB courses whereas the TS PGLCET Exam is conducted for admissions into LLM programmes. 

TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2023 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for TS LAWCET 2023, for the 3-year LLB course, candidates must have completed their graduate degree from a recognized board or university with 45% aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST. 

Candidates looking to take up the 5-year LLB course must have passed their Class 12 or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, with 45% aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST. 

To apply for TS PGLCET 2023, candidates must have completed their LL.B./B.L. 3/5 year degree on the date of application. Candidates appearing in their final examinations are also eligible to apply.
