Tripura Teacher Recruitment 2018: Registration for 3,600 PGT, TGT post starts tomorrow; All you need to know

TRBT Teacher Recruitment 2018 is scheduled to begin tomorrow on trb.tripura.gov.in, as the Teacher’s Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) invites applications to fill 3611 PGT & TGT vacancies.

Tripura Teacher Recruitment 2018: TRBT Teacher Recruitment 2018 is scheduled to begin tomorrow on trb.tripura.gov.in, as the Teacher’s Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) invites applications to fill 3611 PGT & TGT vacancies in the state via STPGT-2019 and STGT-2019. TRB, Tripura had earlier released notifications for the same as per which, the online application window will be made available for a brief period of one week from 12th December to 19th December 2018 only. TRBT Teacher Recruitment 2018 – Vacancy Details: Out of total 3611 vacancies, there are a total of 3172 vacancies for Graduate Teachers and rest for Post Graduate Teachers for 20 different subjects. PGT candidates must note that subject once chosen cannot be changed after the application submission. Similarly, for TGT posts, candidates can choose any of the options out of (1) Social Science, (2) Biological Science (3) Pure Science from the dropdown box; however, option once chosen cannot be changed. Tripura Teacher Recruitment 2018 - Important Dates: Online Application Process Begins – 12th December 2018 Online Application Process Ends – 19th December 2018 Payment of Application Fee – 12th to 27th December 2018 Downloading of Admit Card – 1 st to 8th February 2019 Date of SGPGT 2019 – 24th February 2019, 2 PM to 4:30 PM Date of STGT 2019 – 24th February 2019, 9:30 AM to 12Noon Eligibility Criteria: Only Indian Nationals who are permanent residents of Tripura are eligible to apply for the post Graduate Teacher for Class Xl-Xll via STPGT-2019 and Graduate Teacher for Class lX-X via STGT-2019. Academic Qualification: PGT: The applicant must hold Post Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject along with B.Ed. TGT: The applicant must hold Post Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject along with B.Ed. Age-Limit: The applicant must be up to 40 years as on 7th December 2018 to be eligible to apply for both PGT and TGT posts. Candidates must read the official advertisements given below to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks in the written exam. The written examination for the same will be held at Agartala and candidates must score minimum 35% marks (30% for SC/ ST/ PH). Pay Scale: PGT – Rs. 26,025/-(revised) fixed per month being 75% of basic pay (Level-10) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. TGT – Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75 % of basic pay (Level-9) of Tripura state Pay Matrix,2018.
