TN 12th Board Exam 2021: HSC Exam Postponed, Practical To Be Conducted As Per Plan

In the wake of Covid-19 cases exploding across the country, the Tamil Nadu government has postponed the decision to conduct the Class 12 public examination 2021 because of safety concerns.

According to the directions, all classes for college students must be conducted online. The government has directed all coaching institutions to suspend physical classes, but it allowed them to conduct online classes. Summer camps are also not allowed.
As per the official statement released by the government, the Tamil Nadu board class 12 examinations have been postponed but the practical examinations of the students will be conducted as per schedule. The TN Board class 12 exams were previously scheduled to be held from May 3 to 21, 2021.
However, now new dates will be announced soon.
Earlier this month, the state board has decided to cancel the Class 10 board exams. The decision was taken by the government to ensure the safety of the children amid the ongoing Covid-19 crises.
Students must track the official site of the TN Board for the revised dates of the Tamil Nadu Board Class 12 Exam 2021.
Other state boards have either cancelled or postponed board exams in the wake of rising cases. The Union Education Ministry postponed the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) in India and abroad. The JEE Mains examination was scheduled to be held on April 27, 28, and 30 in 2021.
Moreover, the state government has imposed certain restrictions including a complete lockdown on Sundays. Apart from a complete lockdown in the state every Sunday, the state will also observe a night curfew from April 20, 2021, onwards from 10 PM to 4 AM. During the night curfew, private and public transport including those by autorickshaws and taxis shall not be allowed. Visit to beaches, zoos and all tourist destinations like Nilgiris and Kodaikanal are also not allowed.
