SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022: Check Vacancy, Recruitment Process, Exam Date and More

The online application process for SSC GD Constable 2022 is live now and the application window will close on November 30, 2022. Applications are to be submitted online in the online mode only at ssc.nic.in. 

The online SSC GD 2022 Application Fee is Rs 100, wherein female candidates and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

The SSC GD 2022 Application Fee can also be paid in the offline mode through SBI Challan till December 1, 2022. However, the challan must be generated online before 11:00 PM, November 30, 2022. 

SSC GD Constable 2022 Vacancies and Recruitment Process

The SSC GD Constable is a popular position in India conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) every year. The SSC GD 2022 Recruitment aims to fill 24369 GD Constable vacancies across BSF (Border Security Force), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), ITBP (Indo-Tibet Border Police), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal), SSF (Secretariat Security Forces), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau).

Out of the total vacancies, 2,626 vacant posts have been announced for general duty female constables and 21,579 vacancies for general duty male constables to be inducted through SSC GD 2022. The SSC GD Constable 2022 Recruitment process will consist of four stages: CBE (Computer-Based Examination), PET (Physical Efficiency Test), PST (Physical Standards Test), and Medical Examination. SSC GD 2022 Exam 

The SSC GD Exam 2022 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in English as well as Hindi languages. The exam paper will have 80 questions with each question carrying two marks. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes and the questions will be of objective type. 

The question paper of the SSC GD Constable Exam will have four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. The questions in each of these sections will be from their respective subjects of the matriculation level.

SSC GD 2022 Exam Date and Admit Card Release

The SSC has released the exam dates for SSC GD Exam Date 2022 on its official website. As per the notification, the SSC GD 2022 Exam will be conducted from January 10, 2023 to February 14, 2023. The SSC GD Exam 2022 Admit Card is expected to be relased by the end of December.

SSC is expected to notify the SSC GD Admit Card 2022 release after the application process ends on November 30. For more updates on the SSC GD Exam 2022 and SSC GD 2022 Admit Card, applicants are advised to keep visiting the official SSC website - ssc.nic.in.
