SAIL Recruitment 2019: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited applications to fill 153 vacancies for various posts for its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on the official website - sail.co.in. SAIL, Bhilai is inviting applications for Fire Engineer, Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant cum Technician, Blaster, Junior Staff Nurse Trainee, Pharmacist Trainee and Junior Medical Technologist Trainee posts. Candidates selected for the Fire Engineer post will undergo a training period of 1 year while for other posts, the training period will be of 2 years. The online application process is scheduled to begin on 19th January 2019 and conclude on 9th February 2019, next month. SAIL Recruitment 2019 - Vacancy Details: Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) – 116 Posts Fire Engineer – 3 Posts Attendant cum Technician – 3 Posts Blaster – 1 Post Junior Staff Nurse Trainee – 6 Posts Pharmacist Trainee – 5 Posts Jr Medical Technologist Trainee – 17 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Operator-cum-Technician (OCT – Trainee): The applicant must be a Matriculate and must possess 3-years full time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute. Fire Engineer: The applicant must be Bachelor of Fire Engineering with minimum 65% marks. Attendant cum Technician (ACT – Boiler Operation): The applicant must be a Matriculate and must possess full time ITI certificate with 1st or 2nd class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency. Blaster: The applicant must be a Matriculate and must possess valid Blaster certificate or valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency with minimum 1 -post qualification experience. Junior Staff Nurse Trainee: The applicant must be B.Sc Nursing or must possess 10+2 with Diploma in Nursing with minimum 1- year post qualification experience. Pharmacist Trainee: The applicant must possess Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 1-year experience. Jr Medical Technologist Trainee: The applicant must be B.Sc in relevant field or must possess 10+2 with 2-years Diploma in relevant discipline and 1- year post qualification experience. Age Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 28 years as on 9th February 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement. Selection Process: Fire Engineer: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test (80% weightage) and Interview (20% weightage). Other Posts: The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in Written Test (100% weightage), the shortlisted candidates will undergo Trade/Skill Test, which will of qualifying nature only.
