Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PWDs /Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward class had paid an examination fee of Rs.250 while applying for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018, last year, while candidates belonging to all other categories who were not eligible for fee concession had paid Rs.500. Railways Minister, Piyush Goyal had clarified last year that the Indian Railways will refund Rs.250 and Rs.400 respectively for the above-mentioned categories after deducting bank charges for the candidates who would appear for the Computer Based Test. The applicants were asked to provide details of the beneficiary account in which they would like to receive the refund and furnish bank account details like Beneficiary name, Bank Name, Account No. and IFSC code in the online application form.
