UPSC 2023 Topper Aditya Srivastava Reveals Who Should Avoid The UPSC Grind

Aditya Srivastav has secured All India Rank 1 in UPSC CSE 2023, followed by Animesh Pradhan in second place.

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, announced the UPSC CSE 2023 results yesterday, April 16, 2024. Aditya Srivastav has secured All India Rank 1 this year, followed by Animesh Pradhan in second place. Aditya's academic journey is quite impressive. He is an alum of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He continued to excel academically after completing his studies from CMS Lucknow's Aliganj branch. Currently, Aditya is training at the Hyderabad Police Academy.

Reacting to the result, Aditya took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared the screenshot of the UPSC CSE result with his name encircled. "One day, after years of struggle, It will hit you in a very beautiful way.!!"

Here's what Aditya said about his success as quoted by ANI, "It was a bit difficult to sink in but after that I was ecstatic. I was not expecting Rank 1, I was praying to God to get into the top 70, so that I can get into Indian Administrative Services..I would just say that being consistent and hard work along with smart work is the key to do whatever you want to achieve and the same holds well for this field as well".

After the UPSC CSE results were declared, a video of Aditya Srivastava went viral in which he shared important things related to preparation and joining this field. Aditya says that initially, people are attracted by the facilities available here, like cars, bungalows, etc., but this does not last long, it goes away within a few days. If that's why you enter this field, don't come because this hobby ends within a month, two months, or a hundred days. After this, the real struggle begins.

Aditya's first rank in the UPSC CSE exam demonstrates his dedication. His previous attempt in the 2022 exam, where he secured the 236th rank and chose Indian Police Services, showcases his commitment to his ambitions. His journey is an inspiration for students aspiring to become civil servants. Srivastava's outstanding performance and his desire to make a positive difference make him deserve the top rank. This year, a total of 1,016 aspirants (664 men and 352 women) have qualified for the civil services examination and have been recommended by the UPSC for appointment to various services.
