TN 12th Result 2023: Girls Outshine Boys, 326 Schools Record 100 Percent Pass Percentage

DGE Tamil Nadu has released the TN 12th Result 2023. A total of 94.03% students have passed the examination. Pass percentage for girls is higher than boys this year.

The Directorate of General Education (DGE) Tamil Nadu, has released the TN 12th Board Result 2023. For 2023, girls have yet again outshined boys with a higher pass percentage. In the Tamil Nadu 12th Board Results 2023, 96.4% of girls have passed the examination, compared to 87.79% of boys. Moreover, a total of 326 schools have recorded a perfect 100 percent pass percentage this year. In terms of the broader performances by schools in the TN Intermediate Results 2023, the pass percentage in government schools is 89.90 percent, while that in government aided schools is 95.99 percent. However, private schools in Tamil Nadu have topped the results with a 99.09 percent pass percentage.

Similarly, in coed schools acrross the state, the overall pass percentage this year stands at 94.39 percent. While the pass percentage in coed schools among girls is 96.4 percent, the ratio for boys stands at 87.79 percent. Interestingly, the number of centum scorers has also increased in the TN 12th Results 2023. Compared to 23,957 in 2022, 32,501 students have scored the perfect centum (full marks: 100) this year. The tally of centum scorers stands highest for the Accountancy subject. A total of 6,573 students have scored centum in Accountancy. However, the centum tally is least for 'Tamil,' in which only two students managed to score the perfect 100.

Notably, the DGE Tamil Nadu declared the TN 12th Board Results on its official website - tnresults.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the TN 12th Exams 2023 can check their results on the official website, using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. As of now, canddiates will be able to check and download the digital copies of thier results. Schools will be distributing the physical hard copies to their respective students at a later date. Earlier this year, the DGE Tamil Nadu conducted the Tamil Nadu 12th Board Exams 2023 from March 13 to April 3, 2023. Over 8 lakh students reportedly appeared for the TN 12th Exams 2023.
