The Punjab School Education Board, PSEB has announced the Punjab Board 10th Result 2024 today, April 18, 2024. Around 3 lakh students were waiting for the announcement of the result. The Board recorded a pass percentage of 97.24% for class 10. Similar to the previous year, girls outshined boys in performance. Out of a total of 132,642 girls, 130,132 passed the PSEB class 10 exam with a pass percentage of 98.11%. Also, out of 148,445 boys, 143,206 passed the exams with a slightly lower percentage of 96.47%.

Out of the total students, 394 students did not pass the Class 10 exam, accounting for 0.14% of the total students.In terms of district-wise performance, Amritsar has emerged as the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 99.24%. Fatehgarh Sahib is the district with the lowest pass percentage, standing at 94.51%.

PSEB class 10th examinations were conducted from February 13 to March 6, 2024. The Chairperson of the Punjab School Education Board will declare the PSEB 10th result 2024 via an official press conference, following which the result link will be activated on the official website. Students are advised to cross-check all the details mentioned in their results. Students must immediately inform their respective school authorities if they find any error or discrepancy in the result.

The PSEB theory examination carries a weightage of 80 marks, while the practical/internal examinations are allotted 20 marks. To clear the PSEB 10th exam 2024, students must score a minimum score of 33%. This year, the Punjab Board will use a seven-level grading system, starting from the highest grade, 'A1,' to 'D,' the lowest passing grade. Moreover, for students who are unsatisfied with their scores or wish to have their answer sheets reviewed, the Punjab Board offers the option of PSEB rechecking and revaluation. Details regarding the application process for rechecking and revaluation will be made available on the official website soon after the result announcement.

The Punjab Board will open the Punjab Board 10th rechecking and revaluation applications link on the official website. Students will be allowed to apply for the revaluation process in case they are not satisfied with their results. The PSEB 2024 compartment exams will be tentatively conducted between August 11 and September 4, 2024, and the results are expected to be released in the last week of September.
