CBSE Class 10 Result 2024: Answer Sheet Evaluation Underway; Details Here
The evaluation process of CBSE Class 10 copies is underway.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the CBSE 10th Result 2024 in May. Once released, the CBSE 10th results and mark sheets will be accessible on the DigiLocker website and mobile app. Students can utilise their Class 10 roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID to verify and download their CBSE 10th Marksheet for the year 2024.
According to the reports, the assessment process for CBSE Class 10 answer sheets is nearing its conclusion. Based on past years' trends, it is expected that the Board will declare the CBSE 10th Result 2024 in early May. However, there is no official update on this yet. In the current academic year, around 16 lakh students participated in the Class 10 board examination.
With an estimated average of 5 answer sheets per student, the total count of answer sheets to be evaluated exceeded 80 lakh. Evaluation activities commenced in early March. Following the assessment phase, the board collects the answer sheets, prepares the results, scans and uploads the copies, and computes the marks. This entire process typically spans around 2 to 3 weeks.
Last Year's Result Analysis
In the previous year, the CBSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.12%, surpassing the pre-Covid pass percentage of 91.10% in 2019. Last year, a total of 2,184,117 students had registered for the Class 10 exams. Out of this number, 2,165,805 students appeared in the exams. Among those who took the exams, 2,016,779 students successfully passed and were promoted to the next class. A total number of 44,297 students scored 95% and above marks in the CBSE 10th board examinations.
