PM Modi interacted with many students and answered their queries at the sixth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha. PM Modi said, "Look inside you; Do self-introspection! You should recognise your own potential, your own aspirations, your own goals; and then try to converge those with the expectations that other people are having from you."
PM Modi's Advise To The Students:
- On questioning about how to deal with family's situation when the result is not good, PM Modi said It's natural for families to have expectations from their children, but if it is just for the sake of maintaining 'Social Status', it becomes dangerous.
- While replying to a question from a student, PM Modi talked about the importance of time management. PM modi said that time management is important not only for examinations but also in your daily life, just prioritize your work. Observe the time management skills of your mother and you will get to know how to manage your studies during exam time.
- It is true that some students use their creativity to cheat in exams, but it is important to remember that cheating is not a path to success. Hardworking students should not be discouraged by others who cheat, as their hard work and determination will ultimately lead to success in the long run. It is important to stay focused and motivated and to remember that cheating is not the way to achieve one's goals, said PM Modi on unfair means in exams.
- On the question of 'Hard Work or Smart Work?" which is better, PM Modi replies that those who work hard will certainly have a blessed life, a life filled with colours. The difference of 2-3 marks in exams between you and your peers doesn't matter in life in the long run. Those who are dedicated will definitely achieve the best.
- PM Modi said that being average does not mean that one cannot achieve great things, as effort and determination can help to overcome limitations and achieve success. It's important to set realistic goals, focus on continuous improvement and put in the effort required to achieve them.
- PM Modi tells students that we should never underestimate our potential. PM Modi said that our country, which the world called 'Average' is shining globally now! So, never underestimate your potential. Times change and everyone has some extraordinary skills; the thing is that you need to recognize those.
- Responding to a student at the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha event, the Prime Minister said "criticism is like purification in a democracy". PM Modi said that the question is out of the syllabus. I have a conviction that criticism is an absolute condition and a Shuddhi Yagna for a prosperous democracy.
