ONGC Apprenticeship 2019: 4014 jobs on offer, apply before March 28
ONGC Apprenticeship 2019: The online application process is underway on the official website of ONGC – ongcindia.com.
ONGC Apprenticeship 2019: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited has notified 4014 slots for apprenticeships for its 22 work centres spread across the country. One-year apprenticeship vacancies have been notified for various trades and posts including Accountant, Assistant HR, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Draughtsman (Civil), Electrician, Fitter, Welder amongst many more.
The online application process is underway on the official website of ONGC – ongcindia.com, and interested candidates can submit their online applications on or before 28th March 2019, 5pm, for this mega apprentice engagement drive by the India’s flagship energy major.

Northern Sector - 62 posts
Mumbai Sector - 745 posts
Western Sector - 1588 posts
Eastern Sector - 769 posts
Southern Sector - 653 posts

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Accountant – Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Govt. recognized institute/University
2. Assistant-Human Resource – Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in B.A. or B.B.A from a Govt. recognized institute/ University.
3. Secretarial Assistant - ITI in Secretarial Assistant trade
4. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) - ITI in COPA Trade
5. Draughtsman (Civil) - ITI in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade
6. Electrician - ITI in Electrician Trade
7. Electronics Mechanic - ITI in Electronics Mechanic
8. Fitter - ITI in Fitter
9. Instrument Mechanic - ITI in Instrument Mechanic
10. Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance - ITI in Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance
11. Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) B.Sc with PCM or PCB - ITI in Lab. Asst (Chemical Plant) trade
12. Machinist - ITI in Machinist Trade
13. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) - ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade
14. Mechanic Diesel - ITI in Mechanic Diesel trade
15. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic - ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic trade
16. Surveyor - ITI in Surveyor Trade
17. Welder - ITI passed out in the trade of Welder (Gas & Electric)
18. Civil - Diploma in the respective disciplines of Engineering
19. Computer Science - Diploma in the respective disciplines of Engineering
20. Electrical - Diploma in the respective disciplines of Engineering
21. Electronics - Diploma in the respective disciplines of Engineering

Age-Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 24 years as on 28th March 2019. Age relaxation rules apply for reserved categories.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
Stipend:
The selected candidates will be eligible for monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from to time.
How to apply for ONGC Apprenticeship 2019 for 4014 Posts?
Interested candidates must ascertain their eligibility from the official advertisement, and then register themselves with National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org for Trade - Accountant and Assistant Human Resources (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 1 & 2).
For other Trade Apprentices (Trades mentioned in Sl. No 3-17), the applicant must register with Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) at http://www.apprenticeship.gov.in
And for Technician Apprentices the applicant must register with the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in their portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under Ministry of Human Resource Development. After registering on the above mentioned portals as per the relevant post, the candidates need to complete further registration process on the official website of ONGC – ongcapprentices.co.in and ongcindia.com.
