NEET Controversy: Patna Police Finds 'Mantri Ji' Connection In Paper Leak Case

NEET Results: Thirteen accused, including Sikandar, a Junior Engineer at Danapur Municipality, have been arrested and sent to jail in the NEET paper leak case.

NEET Paper Leak Case: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police arrested a suspect in the NEET paper leak case, whose name was registered for a room at the NHAI guest house in Patna. From this location, the accused was taken to a designated playschool where the NEET question paper was provided and students were asked to memorise the answers.

ABP News has reported that Sikandar, one of the arrested accused in the NEET paper leak case accommodated his relative Anurag Yadav and Anurag's mother Reena Kumari at the NHAI guest house in Patna. Anurag Yadav's name is recorded in the guest house entry, with "Minister Ji" written next to it. This revelation raises questions about which minister recommended the accused individuals involved in the NEET paper leak to stay at the NHAI government guest house near Patna Airport.

A total of 13 accused, including Sikandar, who was employed as a Junior Engineer at Danapur Municipality, have been arrested and sent to jail in connection with the NEET paper leak case. In his confession, Sikandar confirmed that he had arranged accommodation for Anurag Yadav and his mother Reena Kumari at the guest house on May 4. Anurag is Sikandar's nephew. Anurag went to a playschool in Khemnichak from NHAI guest, where he and other candidates were provided with the question paper and asked to memorise the answers.

ABP News has accessed the results of three students who received the question paper before the exam. Aayush Raj, Abhishek Kumar, and Shivnandan Kumar were among those who had access to the paper beforehand. Aayush scored 300 marks, Abhishek Kumar scored 581 marks, and Shivnandan Kumar achieved 483 marks out of a total of 720. According to Bihar Police, Aayush admitted during interrogation that he received the paper one day before the exam and was instructed to memorize the answers.

Notably, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said that even if there is 0.001% negligence on the part of anyone it should be thoroughly dealt with. The top court pulled up the National Testing Agency (NTA) and said that think about the children who have prepared for the examination. The court said this while hearing another petition challenging the NEET UG results. The court issued notice and tagged it along with other pleas to be heard on July 8.
