MAH MCA - CET 2023: Registrations Begin On cetcell.mahacet.org - Apply Now

Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the MAH MCA - CET 2023 up to March 9, 2023. Applications are to be submitted on cetcell.mahacet.org.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH - CET) cell has started accepting registrations for the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test 2023 (MAH MCA - CET 2023). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the MAH MCA- CET 2023 on the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to apply for the MAH MCA - CET 2023 is March 9, 2023. 

While applying for the mAH MCA - CET 2023, open category candidates from Maharashtra, and candidates from outside Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates will be required to pay an application fee of 1,000. For SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, EWS, and PwD category candidates from Maharashtra, the CET application fee is Rs 800.

Before applying for MAH MCA CET though, candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria as prescribed. For more details, interested candidates are advised to visit the official MAH CET website. Notably though, the CET Cell, Maharashtra, is likely to announce the MAH MCA - CET 2023 Exam Dates soon. 

Earlier, on February 24, the CET Cell started accepting applications for the MAH MBA / MMS - CET 2023. The state entrance cell conducts the MAH CET exam for different programmes for admissions into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in universities, colleges, and higher institutions in the state of Maharashtra. The scores of the MAH MCA- CET 2023 Exam would be used for admissions into MCA courses offered by various colleges in Maharashtra. 

MAH MCA - CET 2023: Scheme of Examination

The MAH MCA / CET - 2023 Exam will be conducted in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The exam paper will carry a total of 200 marks, and a total time duration of 90 minutes. The example paper will have questions spread across four sections: Mathematics and Statistics, Logical/ Abstract reasoning, English comprehension and verbal ability and Computer Concepts. The test paper will consist of a total of 100 questions and the medium of the test will be English.

MAH MCA - CET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

As per the official brochure, to apply for the MAH MCA - CET 2023, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Passed B.C.A or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State), Or
  • (ii) The candidate should have any graduation degree (e.g : B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Com or B.A. or B.Voc. etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level(with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA STATE Common Entrance Test 3 INFORMATION BROCHURE MAH-MCA-CET 2023 candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)
  • Candidates appearing in their final examination are also eligible to apply

MAH MCA - CET 2023: How To Apply?

 

  • Visit the official website - cetcell.mahacell.org

 

  • Go to the CET Portal (Examination) A.Y. 2023-24
  • Under the Postgraduate Courses list, click on the MAH MCA - CET 2023 link
  • Click on ‘New Registration,’ check the acknowledgement box and register online
  • Fill in the application form
  • Upload relevant documents in the prescribed format
  • Pay the application fee online and submit the form
  • Download the application confirmation page for reference
