Punjab Police Recruitment 2021: Today, Punjab Police Recruitment Board will end the online application process for recruitment to the posts of IA and Constables.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2021: Today, on August 16, The Punjab Police Recruitment Board will stop the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Intelligence Assistant (In Constable Rank) and Constable in Investigation Cadre. Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied can apply today by visiting the Punjab Police official website punjabpolice.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is being run in two cadres to fill up 1191 vacant posts. These include 794 posts of Intelligence Assistant (as Constable) in Intelligence Cadre and 362 posts of Constable in Investigation Cadre.  The remaining posts are under the sports quota, which will be filled separately.

Age Limit:

 The minimum age has been fixed at 21 years and the maximum age at 28 years as of 1st January 2021. On the other hand, there is relaxation in the upper age limit for the reserved category.

Education Qualification:

• Intelligence Assistant: Graduate from a recognized university or graduate in Computer Science or Computer Application or Information Technology from an institution, or B.Sc./B.Tech/BE. in specified subjects.
• Constable: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education/University.

Physical Standards:

The minimum height required for male candidates is 5 feet 5 inches and for female candidates is 5 feet 1 inch.

Selection Process :

The selection process will be a two-stage process. Punjab Police will recruit candidates on the basis of MCQ-type computer-based tests. After this Document Scrutiny, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Physical Screening Test (PST) will be taken.

Application fees:

Candidates will have to pay an online fee of Rs 1,000 (Application Fee of Rs 400 + Examination Fee of Rs 600). There is relaxation in the amount for reserved categories.
