ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2023: Applications For 2500 Posts Underway On ongcindia.com - Check Details

The shortlisting of candidates for the ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 shall be done based on the merit of candidates in the qualifying examination.

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has started inviting applications for the ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment online on the official website - ongcindia.com. The ONGC is conducting the recruitment drive to induct a total of 2500 Apprentices in the corporation. As per the official schedule of the recruitment, the last date to apply for the ONGC Recruitment 2023 is September 20, 2023. The corporation started inviting applications for the recruitment on September 1, 2023. 

The result/ merit list of shortlisted candidates for the apprenticeship shall be published on October 5, 2023. Candidates may note that the shortlisting of candidates for the apprenticeship shall be done based on the merit list prepared considering the performance of candidates in the qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an apprenticeship (training) of 12 months in which they will also receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000, based on the trade and category of apprenticeship.

Notably, the ONGC is offering apprenticeship through the recruitment for a total of 40 different trades. Moreover, a candidate can apply for one trade only for the recruitment drive. Before applying though, candidates are advised to carefully go through the detailed eligibility criteria for the desired trade they wish to apply for. Furthermore, interested candidates must be aged between 18 to 24 years of age as on 20.09.2023, to apply for the recruitment. After the declaration of merit list, selected candidates shall be intimated on their registered email address and mobile number. Before joining though, the verification of original documents of shortlisted candidates will also be done. "The verification of the original documents shall be done prior to joining on a specific date. A registration form will be generated once the candidate is selected. A print out of the same may be taken from the Skill India Portal and brought during document verification to ONGC," reads the official advertisement in this regard.
