Educational Qualification:

As per the JPSC Specialist Doctor Recruitment 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:

  1. The candidate must have completed a degree or diploma in medicine from a medical college that is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  2. For the Non-Teaching Specialist Doctor position, eligible degrees include MD, MS, DNB, or equivalent higher degrees.
  3. Candidates who have completed the MCHDM degree in the concerned specialization are also eligible to apply for the vacancies.
  4. Additionally, candidates must be registered as a doctor with either the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.

Age Limit: 

Candidates must meet the age requirement of being at least 25 years old and no more than 45 years old.

Application Fees:  

As per the JPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, the application fee for Non-Teaching Specialist Doctors vacancies is as follows:

  • Unreserved/BC/EBC/EWS category candidates: Rs 600
  • SC/ST category candidates (Jharkhand state only): Rs 150
