JEE Main 2023 Exam: NTA Allows Modification of Category In Application Form, Check Official Notice

JEE Main Exam 2023: Candidates can modify their category through the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2023 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the category correction process for JEE Main Exam 2023. Candidates can now modify their category through the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The window to edit or modify changes will be active till April 22,2023. NTA decided to permit such changes based on the requests received from candidates.

“Representations have been received from the candidates regarding allowing them to edit/modify their Category in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023. In view of the above and in the interest of the students, it has been decided to provide a final opportunity for the candidates for modifying their Category in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023,” NTA said in a official notice.

“The candidates are allowed to make the corrections in the Category only, latest by 22 April 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction whatsoever will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.” NTA added.

NTA further stated that candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents by the concerned Counselling / Admission Authority. If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has used a false/fake/incorrect document or has furnished false, incorrect, or incomplete information, in order to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all further processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.

JEE Main Answer Key Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key of the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam on April, 19, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the JEE Main Answer Key from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The objection window is now closed. Now, NTA will review the objections and then release the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Final Answer Key accordingly. The JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam Result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.
