Jamshedpur: 11-Yr-Old Girl Gets Rs 1.2 Lakh For 12 Mangoes After Video Goes Viral, Buys Smartphone For Online Classes

Managing Director of Valuable Edutainment Private Ltd Ameya Hete hoped that her story inspired others to take charge of their fate in their own hands.

New Delhi: In an emotionally uplifting act, a samaritan from Mumbai has extended help to an 11-year-old girl in Jamshedpur by awarding Rs 1.2 lakh after her video of selling mangoes to buy a smartphone for attending online classes, went viral on social media.

Looking at the determination of the girl, the man offered her financial support that helped Tulsi buy a smartphone for her studies, says her mother.

In the video which was captured by an unknown bystander, the little girl can be seen selling mangoes at the roadside to be able to raise money for her education. Soon after the video of the girl started doing rounds on social media, a businessman from Mumbai offered to pay Rs 10,000 each for 12 mangoes, Tulsi said.

The girl is extremely thrilled to resume her classes regularly through her mobile phone. The Mumbai-based Valuable Edutainment Private Limited came forward offering support by buying a dozen mangoes for Rs 1.2 lakh.

The said amount was transferred to her father's account and a tutor was also hired for Tulsi. The father believes with the right guidance and helps the daughter will be able to excel in her studies because she is dedicated.

Even Tulsi's mother Padmini Devi is also relieved that the arrangement of will help her daughter achieve education.

The proud mother of Tusli is hopeful that her daughter will do something good in her life.

On the other hand, Valuable Edutainment Private Limited supported Tulsi in her endeavor expects more students to take inspiration from her story. 

While wishing Tulsi,  Managing Director of Valuable Edutainment Private Limited, Ameya Hete tweeted about the incident saying, "I hoped that her story inspired others to take charge of their fate in their own hands." 

He also thanked media, dailies, publications, journalists, radio stations & every one of you on social media who have highlighted Tulsi's story. It is definitely a story that should set precedence for others who are financially weak but dare to turn their dreams into reality with perseverance and hard work.
