Indian Army Recruitment 2019: Indian Army has invited applications from unmarried male and female candidates under the NCC special entry scheme for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army on the official website – joinindianarmy.nic.in. The selected candidates will first undergo a probation period of 6 months followed by 10 years of Short Service Commission, which is further extendable for 4 years. The application process has already commenced yesterday i.e. 9^th January 2019, 4PM and interested candidates must submit their online applications on or before 7^th February 2019, 4PM on the official website of the Indian Army. Indian Army Recruitment 2019 – Vacancy Details: Unmarried Men – 50 (45 General Category + 5 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel) Unmarried Women – 5 (4 General Category + 1 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel) Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted by the Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence on the basis of their applications and notified via email. The shortlisted candidates will be selected via SSB Interviews (Stage I + Stage II). Stipend: The selected Lady cadets and Gentlemen cadets will be eligible to receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs.56,100 during the training period along with other allowances and will be placed at OTA, Chennai for 49 weeks. Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualification: The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institution/university.
