ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 Results To Be Announced On Monday, Board To Discontinue Compartment Exams: CISCE

ICSE, ISC Results: The CISCE is set to announce the results of the ICSE for Class 10 and the ISC for Class 12 on Monday.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced that the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class 12 will be declared on Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m. The announcement was made through a press statement released on Sunday.

According to the press statement, the results will be declared during a press conference to be held at the CISCE's office in New Delhi. "The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, is holding a Press Conference to announce the results of Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) Examinations, 2024 on 6 May 2024 at 11.00 a.m. at the CISCE's office at Plot No. 35 & 36, Sector VI, Pushp Vihar, Saket, New Delhi 110017," it read.

The board results will be available on the CISCE website, the CAREERS portal, and DigiLocker.

Notably, Chief Executive and Secretary Joseph Emmanuel said that the board has also decided to discontinue compartment exams for Classes 10 and 12 from this session. "Candidates who wish to improve their marks or grades in the same year of examination may take improvement exams in a maximum of two subjects," Emmanuel added, as per news agency PTI. The improvement exams would be conducted in July.

The examinations for ICSE Class 10 were conducted from February 21 to March 28, 2024, while ISC Class 12 examinations took place from February 12 to April 2, 2024. Notably, the Class 12 Chemistry examination was rescheduled and held from February 26 to March 21, 2024.

How To Check ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 Board Exam Results Online

To check their ICSE Class 10 or ISC Class 12 board exam results online, students can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of CISCE at www.cisce.org.
  2. Navigate to the results page and click on the link for ICSE or ISC board exam results 2024.
  3. Select the course code as ICSE/ISC and enter login credentials, such as identification number and date of birth.
  4. The ISC 12th and ICSE 10th results will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

In the previous year's examinations, the pass percentage for ICSE Class 10 was 98.94 per cent, while for ISC Class 12, it stood at 96.93 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in both categories, with a pass percentage of 99.21 per cent for girls in Class 10, compared to 98.71 per cent for boys. Similarly, in Class 12, the pass percentage for girls was 98.01 per cent, while for boys, it was 95.96 per cent.
