Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2018 application process for the post of Stenographer has begun today on the official website of Gujarat High Court – hc-ojas.guj.nic.in. As per the official notification, Gujarat High Court is inviting applications from eligible applicants to fill 76 English and Gujarati stenographer vacancies. The selection of the candidates will be based on a varied tests and the selected candidates will be placed in Grade-II. Interested candidates can apply online on and before 31^st December 2018. Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2018 - Important Dates: Submission of online application begins – 17^th December 2018 Submission of online application ends – 31^st December 2018 The tentative scheduled date for English Stenographer Grade-II examination/test – 10^th March 2019 (Morning Session) The tentative scheduled date for Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II examination/test – 10^th March 2019 (Afternoon Session) Vacancy Details: English Stenographer Grade-II – 31 posts Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II – 45 posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: English Stenographer Grade-II – The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. S/he must have a 120 words per minute speed in English shorthand. The applicant should possess basic computer knowledge, and must have sufficient knowledge of languages such as English, Gujarati & Hindi. Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II – The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. S/he must have 90 words per minute speed in Gujarati shorthand. The applicant should possess basic computer knowledge and must be proficient in English, Gujarati & Hindi. Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 40 years as on 31^st December 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Stenography/Skill test and Viva-voice test. Pay Scale: For English Stenographer Grade-II as well as Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II post, the selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400/- per month.
