GATE 2024: Last Date To Apply Today On gate2024.iisc.ac.in, Here's How To Apply

GATE 2024 Registration window will be closed today on gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru will close the registration process for GATE 2023 today, September 29, 2023. Interested candidates who are yet to apply can fill the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering application form by visiting the official website of IISc GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates who are unable to submit their applications within the specified timeframe can still do so until October 13,  but with a late fine of Rs 500 per paper. Candidates will have the opportunity to make modifications to their application forms from November 7 to November 11, 2023. The GATE 2023 admit card is set to be released on January 3, 2024, and the GATE examination will take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024.

GATE 2024 Eligibility

Candidates with degrees in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities are eligible to apply for the GATE 2024 Exam. Additionally, students currently in the third year of their undergraduate programs can also apply. It's worth noting that 'Commerce' as an eligible subject has been removed from the eligibility criteria for the GATE Exam this year.

GATE 2024 Registration: How To Apply?

To apply for the GATE 2024 examination, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of IISc GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
  • Click on the registration link and provide the necessary details.
  • After completing the registration, log in to your account.
  • Fill out the application form and make the payment of the application fees.
  • Click on the "submit" button and download the confirmation page.
  • Retain a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

GATE 2024 Application Fee

The application fees for GATE 2024 are as follows:

  • For Female/SC/ST/PwD category candidates during the regular period: Rs 900/-
  • For Female/SC/ST/PwD category candidates during the extended period: Rs 1400/-
  • For other candidates during the regular period: Rs 1800/- For other candidates during the extended period: Rs 2300/-
