DU Introduces MA Hindu Studies And 2 Other PG Courses, Apply By September 30 On pg-merit.uod.ac.in

The admission into the three new DU PG Programmes shall be done purely on the basis of the merit of candidates in the qualifying examination.

The University of Delhi has introduced three new PG programmes for the 2023-24 academic session. The new PG Programmes include MA in Hindu Studies, MA in Chinese Studies, and PG Diploma in Cyber Security and Law. Besides releasing the new PG Programmes, the Delhi University has also started inviting applications for the new courses. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission into one of these new postgraduate DU courses on the official website - pg-merit.uod.ac.in. The last date to apply for admissions is September 30, 2023, till 11:59 pm.

While submitting applications, candidates from UR/ OBC-NCL/ EWS categories applying for the MA in hindu Studies and Chinese Studies will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 250, while SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 only. For the PG Diploma in Cyber Law and Security, the application fee for UR/ OBC-NCL/ EWS candidates is Rs 2,000, while the application fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates is Rs 1,500.

Interestingly, candidates may note that the selection for admission into the new PG programmes at DU shall be based completely on the merit of candidates in their respective qualifying examination. The merit based admission to the new courses comes as a relief for candidates looking beyond CUET PG based postgraduate admissions at Delhi University. However, candidates are advised to fill their admission forms carefully, as the facility to edit/update their applications won’t be made available for the merit-based PG Programmes.

“Candidates are advised to fill their forms carefully. No correction after the submission of the form will be allowed.
