Delhi Teacher Recruitment 2019: Last date extended to apply for 636 TGT jobs; check details

Application process has been extended till 16th January 2019, 5 PM to fill 636 vacancies for the posts of PRT (Primary Teacher) and TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher).

Delhi Teacher Recruitment 2019: Application process has been extended till 16th January 2019, 5 PM to fill 636 vacancies for the posts of PRT (Primary Teacher) and TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) teachers in the Sarvodya Schools and schools of the Directorate of Education, Delhi. The application process was originally scheduled to conclude on 13th January 2019, this Sunday, however, as per a new notification released by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, extension of 3 days has been given. The extension corrigendum is released for TGT recruitment only, thereby candidates must apply for PRT posts by 13th January 2019, itself. The result of Delhi Teacher Recruitment 2019 will now be declared on 21st January 2019. CTET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for this recruitment drive and the selected candidates will be engaged on contractual basis till 31 st March 2019. Eligibility Criteria: PRT – Total 115 Vacancies TGT – Total 521 Vacancies Subject Wise Vacancy Details: English-95 Math- 82 Hindi-98 Sanskrit-89 Natural Science-82 Social Science-69 Urdu-06 Eligibility Criteria: TGT – The applicant must be CTET Qualified in Elementary Stage i.e. Classes 6 to 8. S/he must possess a Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:- (i)-English, (ii)- Mathematics, (iii) Natural/Physical Science, (iv) Social Science PRT – The applicant must be CTET Qualified in Primary Stage i.e. Classes 1 to 5. S/he must be Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate pass or its equivalent from a recognized board and must possess Two years diploma or certificate course in Elementary Teachers Education Course/Junior Basic Training or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent from a recognized institution. S/he have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.
