CTET 2024 January Session registration window will be closed today.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window for the January 2024 session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of ctet.nic.in. The upcoming CTET session slated for January 21, 2024, will encompass two papers: Paper I for teachers targeting Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II designed for educators aiming for Classes 6 to 8. The CTET certificate holds a lifetime validity. There is no limit on the number of attempts one can make to obtain this certification. Even after qualifying, individuals have the liberty to reappear for the exam to enhance their scores and performance.

CTET 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

To apply for CTET 2024, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2:
 On the homepage, find and click on the "Apply for CTET Jan 2024" link.

Step 3:
 Proceed by selecting "New Registration" and enter the necessary details for registration.

Step 4:
 Use the generated credentials to log in.

Step 5:
 Fill in the application form with accurate information.

Step 6:
 Complete the payment of the exam fee and upload the required documents.

Step 7:
 Review the form and submit it.

Step 8:
Download the submitted application for future reference.

CTET 2024 Application Fees

The CTET January 2024 Application fee stands at Rs 1,000 for a single paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. However, applicants belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories have a reduced fee of Rs 500 and Rs 600 for single and both papers, respectively.
