CTET 2024 Answer Key Awaited, Know How To Download

CTET 2024 Answer Key will be made available on the official website at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 answer key. The examination took place on January 21, and the answer keys will be available for download shortly. Candidates who appeared for the CTET January 2024 exam can check the answer keys and review their responses on the official website at ctet.nic.in. Following the release of the answer keys, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections to the preliminary answers by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per question. The board will then review the challenge and if accepted, necessary policy decisions will be made and the fee will be refunded.

Around 27 lakh candidates registered for the CTET January examination with around 9.58 lakh candidates registered for Paper 1 (Class 1-5) and around 17.35 lakh candidates registered for Paper 2 (Class 6-8).

CTET 2024 Answer Key: How To Download?

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET: ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click the link that reads, 'CTET Answer Key'.

Step 3: Submit your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: The answer key will display on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the answer key.

CTET Passing Marks

In the CTET 2024 examination, a person who scores 60% or more will be considered as having passed the TET exam.

Additionally:

(a) School managements (including Government, local bodies, government-aided, and unaided institutions) have the discretion to provide concessions to individuals belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., in accordance with their existing reservation policies.

(b) While considering candidates for recruitment, school managements should give weightage to the CTET scores in the selection process. However, it's important to note that qualifying the CTET does not guarantee recruitment or employment, as it is just one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

The validity period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take to acquire a CTET Certificate. Furthermore, a person who has qualified CTET may also appear again to improve his/her score.
