CBSE Board Exam 2021: Students Wait To Know Whether CBSE Will Change The Exam Dates For 2021

Will the CBSE exam 2021 be postponed? The Board is likely to make an official announcement regarding new dates soon.

New Delhi: In October, CBSE had suggested that the class 10th and 12th board exam dates could be postponed by 45-60 days, it is expected that the board will make an official announcement soon. Many State Boards including Maharashtra and Gujarat have already announced the postponement of the 10th 12th Exams to May 2021 due to Covid-19. Now the focus is on the CBSE board, to officially announce its decision on whether the exam will be postponed. In 2019, the board had released the date sheet in early November as it had announced its decision to pre-pone the board exams. This year, however, there is no news on the release date for the CBSE Date Sheet 2021. Experts point out that CBSE may not be able to make a decision on dates for the next year’s board exams till at least 60 percent of the schools in the country are reopened. The board has released the subject-wise CBSE Class 10 sample papers on the website -- cbseacademic.nic.in. With the help of CBSE Class 10 sample papers, students taking the CBSE Class 10 exams in 2021 can check the type of questions asked and understand the marking scheme. Students are expected to practice with the question paper which will help them time given to each question as well. In view of the ongoing pandemic, the board reduced the syllabus by one-third.
