AP PSC Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2018: The AP PSC Panchayat Secretary application process will be coming to a halt tonight at 11:59pm for new registrants as the application fee payment window will freeze at midnight at psc.ap.gov.in. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) aims to fill 1051 vacancies for the post of Panchayat Secretary (Grade - IV) under A.P. Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service via this recruitment drive, and candidates who wish to pursue a fulfilling career in the Panchayats of Andhra Pradesh must pay the fee as soon as possible i.e. before 11:59pm tonight, and submit their online applications on or before 29th January 2019, i.e. tomorrow. The application process was originally scheduled to close on 19th January 2019, however, the last date to pay fee and to submit online applications was extended by 10 days. Candidates need to register themselves via One Time Registration (OTR) process, after which they can login to their profile using OTRID and Mobile Number. Out of the total 1051 vacancies, AP PSC had  notified 1000 fresh vacancies while 51 vacancies have been carried forward. Graduates holding a valid Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission are eligible to apply for the AP PSC Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2018. The applicant must fall in the age between 18 to 42 years as on 1st July 2018. Age relaxation rules are applicable as per AP PSC’s norms. In case the number of applications exceeds 25000, then APSC will organize a Screening Test in April 2019, however, the final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of a merit list prepared from their marks secured in Computer Based Main Examination. It is notable here that the finally selected candidates will be eligible to receive a monthly remuneration between Rs.16,400 to Rs.49,870 per month.
