AKTU To Begin CUET Counselling For UG Courses On July 28

CUET Counselling: Students will be able to apply through the official website at aktu.ac.in.

The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is all set to commence the counselling process for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023 on July 28. Interested candidates can register for AKTU CUET UG counselling through the official website at aktu.ac.in. The counselling will encompass a wide array of undergraduate and integrated programs, including B Arch, BHMCT, BFA, BFEd, BDes, BTech lateral, B Pharma lateral, MBA Integrated, and MCA Integrated courses. However, MBA and MCA program counselling will take place in the first week of August.

Specifically, for Kashmiri migrant and NRI candidates, counselling registration will commence on July 28, followed by counselling sessions on August 11 and 12. As for the BPharma course, its counselling is scheduled for September 2023.

Candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories must provide valid and up-to-date certificates to participate in the counselling process. Notably, the university has already initiated the registration process for BTech admissions, which will be carried out in four phases.

Moreover, this year, the university is extending its counselling services to 12 state universities in Uttar Pradesh. This decision was announced during a recent meeting of AKTU's central admission committee, presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor JP Pandey, to facilitate admissions to undergraduate courses through the CUET.

CUET UG Counselling 2023: Steps To Register

To apply for UP BTech Counselling 2023, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official portal of UP BTech counselling by visiting uptac.admissions.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for the 'New Registration' section and click on it to begin the registration process.

Step 3: Fill in all the required details during the registration process and proceed to make the counselling fee payment.

Step 4: After completing the registration and fee payment, log in to the main website again using the newly allotted credentials.

Step 5: Now, you need to exercise the choice-filling option for UP BTech colleges and courses. Select your preferred choices from the available options and ensure you have made the right choices based on your preferences.

Step 6: Along with choice filling, upload all the necessary documents as per the guidelines provided on the website. Make sure the documents are clear and meet the specified requirements.

Step 7: Once you have completed the choice filling and document upload process, review all the information to ensure it is accurate and then submit the form.
