UP B.Tech Counselling 2023: Registration Deadline Extended Till August 20 - Check Details

With the registration deadline now being revised, the document verification process for UP B.Tech Counselling 2023 will now be held up to August 22, 2023.

The APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the registration deadline for UP B.Tech Counselling 2023. Candidates who wish to take admission in B.Tech programmes offered by various engineering colleges, institutions and universities across Uttar Pradesh can register for the UP B.Tech Counselling 2023 till August 20, 2023. Registrations are to be done on the official website - uptac.admissions.nic.in. The extension of the counselling registration deadline was notified through a notice on the official website. 

“Last Date of Registration for All Programmes is Extended up to 20-08-2023 23:59 HRS. Last Date of Document Verification for All Programmes is Extended up to 22-08-2023. Detailed Schedule will be released soon,” reads the notice on the official website. 

As per the earlier schedule, the last date to register for the UP B.Tech Counselling 2023 was August 5, and the seat allotment result for the first round was scheduled to be released today, August 14, 2023. The document verification process was earlier scheduled to be held from July 25 to August 9. However, with the registration deadline now being revised, the document verification will be done up to August 22, 2023. 

The AKTU is likely to release the detailed revised schedule of the UP B.Tech Counselling 2023 soon. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website for latest information on the counselling process and UP B.Tech Admissions 2023. 

Importantly, candidates must note that although the AKTU will conduct up to a total of 7 rounds of UP B.Tech Counselling 2023, no new registrations shall be allowed in the further rounds. Only those candidates who register in the first round shall be able to move forward and participate in the second, third, and fourth counselling rounds. The 6th and 7th round of the UP B.Tech Counselling 2023 shall be conducted as special rounds for government institutions only. Moreover, once a seat is allotted to a candidate, no change in institution or branch shall be allowed.

• Furnish your basic details and pay the counselling fee online
• Login again and fill the complete form, and fill in your choices
• Lock the choices are filling and submit
• Download the confirmation page for future reference
