Caught On Cam: Man Attacks Girl With Knife In Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar, Arrested

The incident was caught in a CCTV footage and that man was later arrested while the girl is out of danger.

A man in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area attacked a girl with a knife on Friday, reported news agency ANI. The incident was caught in a CCTV footage where the 22-year-old man, Aman could be seen stabbing the girl with the knife several times. The passers-by could be seen interveing and trying to stop the boy and catch the accused.

As per the report, the boy has been arrested and the girl did not suffer grevious injuries and is out of danger. 

As per a News18 report, the accused is a resident of the area who works as a cook in a paying guest accommodation. 

He told the police that students in the area used to tease him and call him "crazy". 

The woman had also made fun of him, he said adding that it prompted him to pick up a knife from a nearby vegetable vendor and attack her in a fit of rage.
