Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Rithala Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of five wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the five wards of the Rithala assembly constituency are Rohini-A, Rohini-B, Rithala, Vijay Vihar and Budh Vihar.

1. Rohini-A: In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, Rohini-A is ward number twenty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,482. The Rohini-A (Ward 21) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Rohini-B: In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, Rohini-B is ward number twenty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 60,621. The Rohini-B (Ward 22) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Rithala: In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, Rithala is ward twenty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 71,698. The Rithala (Ward 23) MCD seat is unreserved.

4. Vijay Vihar: In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, Vijay Vihar is ward number twenty-four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 68,107. The Vijay Vihar (Ward 24) MCD seat is reserved for women.

5. Budh Vihar: In the Rithala Delhi assembly constituency, Budh Vihar is ward number twenty-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 51,524. The Budh Vihar (Ward 25) MCD seat is unreserved.
