Delhi Man Caught Masturbating In Front Of Girl On DTC Bus: Report

Police stated that the accused was not arrested because no complaint had yet been filed.

New Delhi: In a video that has gone viral on social media, a DTC marshal on Thursday claimed that a man "masturbated" in front of a girl in a bus in the Rohini area of the national capital. However, police stated that the accused was not arrested because no complaint had yet been filed. The accused allegedly masturbated in the DTC bus on Tuesday, according to the viral video, and when the girl raised an alarm, the marshal Sandeep Chakara posted on the bus grabbed him.

The accused can be seen crying in the video that went viral on social media on Wednesday after it was discovered. 

According to a senior police officer, the accused, a Bihar resident, was turned over to the police, but he was not arrested because no complaint had been filed yet. 

According to the officer, an investigation was launched by Police Station North Rohini's Sub-Inspector Suman following the receipt of the information regarding the incident on Wednesday. 

According to police, the victim refused to record her statement or provide a complaint in this regard. The police added that in the future if a complaint is made about the alleged incident, legal action will be taken under the appropriate sections of the law.

This comes a day after a man allegedly urinated on a woman passenger in the business class of a US-Delhi Air India flight. He has been booked and a police complaint has been launched. The incident took place on November 26, 2022, as reported by the news agency ANI.

The Delhi Police on Wednesday said that it has formed teams to nab the man who allegedly urinated on an elderly woman on an Air India flight from New York to Delhi, reported ANI. An FIR was registered by the Police on Wednesday on the basis of a complaint made by Air India. 

The FIR was registered in the matter under Section 345, 509, and 510 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 23 of the Indian Aircraft Act, said the report adding that both the accused and victim were from outside Delhi. 

The shocking incident took place on November 26 when the flight was on its way from John F Kennedy international airport in New York to Delhi. "We have formed a team to trace the accused passenger. The investigation is going on and he will be arrested soon," a police official said.
