Woman Helps Brother In Killing His Live-In Partner, Disposing Of Her Body In Delhi. Arrested

Delhi police on Friday arrested a woman involved in the alleged conspiracy of murder and disposal of the body of his brother's live-in partner in Teliwara area.

Delhi police on Friday arrested a woman involved in the alleged conspiracy of murder and disposal of the body of his brother's live-in partner in Teliwara area. The arrested woman has been identified as Parul, who is the sister of Vineet, the main accused in the case. Police said that the victim, Rohina Naz, was a resident of Uttarakhand. They added that Vineet and Naz had a fight after the latter asked Vineet to marry her. Following this, Vineet strangled and stashed her body, said Joy Tirkey, DCP North-East, as quoted by ANI.

Tirkey added, "He then dumped the body 12 km away from their residence.  We solved the case with the help of CCTV footage as there was no missing report of the victim. Vineet took the help of his friend to carry the dead body on his motorcycle to the place where they disposed of it."

The police received information that an unidentified woman’s body was found lying near Krishna Public School in Karawal Nagar on April 12. Later, the body was identified to be that of Rohina Naz alias Mahi (25), reported PTI quoting police.

Police probed the CCTV footage wherein two bike-borne men were seen moving around suspiciously with a woman sitting in between. As per PTI, a senior police officer said that a man in a striped T-shirt was also seen carrying the woman’s body on his shoulder and a woman walking right behind him.

Later, the two people seen on the CCTV were identified as Vineet Pawar and his sister Parul Chowdhary.

Parul has been apprehended while Vineet is still absconding.

Story Of Vineet And Naz

Police said that Vineet and Naz had eloped four-year-ago and they lived together, but never married.

In 2017, Vineet and his father Vinay Pawar were involved in a murder case in Ramala Sugar Mill, Baghpat. They were convicted on October 25, 2019, and were awarded life imprisonment, the DCP said.

When Vineet was in jail, Naz lived with Parul in Delhi. After Vineet came out on bail on November 26, 2022, Naz began pressurising him for marriage, but Vineet’s family did not approve the same as Naz belonged to a different community, police said, reported PTI.

Due to frequent fights, Vineet and his sister Parul decided to sell off Naz. However, Naz sensed this beforehand and retaliated. Then the brother-sister duo decided to kill her, the DCP added.

On the day of the incident, Vineet and Naz had a fight over the issue of their marriage again and he strangulated her and hid her body, Tirkey said. The police further added that Vineet called another man in the evening. He took the body on his shoulder while Parul carried the victim’s clothes and a cloth that Vineet used to wrap the Naz's body, police said.

Vineet and his accomplice put the body between them as they drove on the motorcycle for over 12 km looking for a place to dump it. Police mentioned that they dumped Naz’s body outside a house in Karawal Nagar and fled, police said.

Thereafter, Vineet left for his village in Baghpat, while Parul began searching for rented accommodation. Police said the duo planned to sell their house in Teliwara.
