UP Shocker: Desperate For Child, Couple Get Lifer For Killing, Eating Liver Of 7-Yr-Old
The couple had approached an occultist for not being able to conceive a child after 19 years of marriage. The occultist asked the couple to eat the liver of a girl.
A couple in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a seven-year-old girl and eating her liver and other vital organs on November 14, 2020 at the behest of an occultist in the city’s Ghatampur area, as per a IANS report.
Along with the couple, Parshuram and Sunaina their nephew Ankul and his associate Viren were also sentenced to life imprisonment by Additional District Judge (POCSO Act) Baquar Shamim Rizvi after the trials lasted three years.
A fine of Rupees 45,000 was also imposed by the court on Ankul and Viren while Parshuram and Sunaina were also penalised Rupees 20,000 each, the report added.

As per Additional district government counsels Ram Rakshit Sharma, Pradeep Pandey and Ajay Kumar Tripathi, a resident of the village in Ghatampur had registered a complaint stating that her seven-year-old daughter had gone missing while playing outside her house on November 14, 2020, reported the news agency.
The next day, her mutilated body was found in a field outside the village, the report added.
The police launched a probe into the matter after which they lodged an FIR against Parshuram, Sunaina, Ankul and Viren.

During the course of investigation, the police came to know that Parshuram and Sunaina could not conceive a child even after 19 years of marriage, and so had approached an occultist who asked them to consume the liver of a girl.
Ankul and Viren had sexually assaulted the girl and killed her, the report said, adding that after killing, they extracted the girl’s liver and gave it to Parshuram and Sunaina.
The sentence of life imprisonment for the four was announced by the court on Saturday.
