In a shocking incident, a woman was stabbed to death and her limbs were chopped off by a man in Bihar’s Bhagalpur on Saturday. According to ANI, the woman had taken money from the man for her daughter’s wedding which she was not able to return.

"Deceased's family named 2 accused, both arrested. It was found that deceased & accused were neighbours & had friendly relations. She borrowed money from him for her daughter's wedding & was unable to return it," city SP said.

"He attacked her with sharp weapon & she died in hospital," he added.

Earlier, in another case in Delhi's Pandav Nagar area, a man was allegedly killed by his wife and stepson, who then chopped his body into 10 pieces and kept them in a fridge before dumping them across east Delhi.

Anjan Das (45) was killed on May 30 this year by his wife Poonam (48) and stepson Deepak (25). Both the accused were arrested from the Pandav Nagar area on November 28.

The cases made headlines when the police teams are investigating the murder of 26-year-old Shraddha Walkar by her partner Aftab in Delhi.
