Mumbai Woman Stabs Mother With Kitchen Knife For 'Loving Sister More'

A shocking incident has come to light from Mumbai where a woman killed her elderly mother on suspicion that she loved her elder sister more than her. 

Sabira Bano (62) who used to live with her son in the city's Mumbra area went to visit her younger daughter Reshma Muzaffar (41) in Kurla's Qureshi Nagar. 

An argument broke out between the mother and daughter as the latter accused her mother of loving the elder sister more and hating her. The confrontation escalated quickly with Reshma accusing her mother of bias. 

The argument turned violent when Reshma went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, stabbing her mother to death. After committing the murder, she surrendered at Chunabhatti police station and told the police that she had murdered her mother.

Police reached the spot and recovered the dead body. The accused woman has been detained and the police are further investigating the case.
