Woman Dies After Sex Due To Heavy Bleeding As Boyfriend Spends 90 Minutes Searching Remedies Online

A 23-year-old nursing student died due to heavy bleeding after having sex with her boyfriend in Gujarat. The incident occurred at a hotel in the Navsari district on September 23. Her boyfriend, instead of calling an ambulance, wasted 90 minutes while searching for remedies online.

The woman had suffered vaginal tears that led to excessive bleeding, NDTV reported citing her forensic report. The 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, along with destruction of evidence.
Authorities reported that the delay in seeking medical help was a significant factor in her death. The accused even attempted to continue the sexual encounter, despite the woman's severe condition.

The man reportedly tried using a cloth to stop the bleeding, but it did not help and the woman fainted. After not finding any solution, he called a friend to the hotel and took her to a private hospital, from where they were referred to the Civil Hospital.
The woman was declared dead even before her parents reached the hospital.

"The forensic report stated she died due to excessive bleeding. Instead of calling 108 or medical assistance, he contacted his friends and transferred her to a private vehicle after waiting for them. Had she received emergency medical aid with IV fluids, blood, and medicines, she would have survived," The Economic Times reported quoting Superintendent of Police Sushil Agrawal.

The post-mortem report revealed that the woman died due to haemorrhagic shock. The woman was a first-year nursing student in Navsari. The couple met on social media around seven months ago.
