In an incident of mass looting during the day, a crowd plundered liqour bottles fallen on the road in Uttar Pradesh's Agra city. The incident unfolded after a delivery vehicle spilled liquor boxes during the transport in Agra's Etmadpur. Instead of helping the driver load the boxes back, the passersby switfly looted the liqour bottles and fled from the scene.

The visuals of the entire loot surfaced on social media and have gone viral since then.

The loader was transporting around 110 boxes of liquor to a shop located in Mitawali village, when it hit a speed bump near Barhan road, causing atleast 30 boxes to fall off from the vehicle, News 18 reported.

In the video footage several passersby, including children, women, and old people, can be seen grabbing bottles of liquor and absconding, despite the traffic and commotion on the road.

As per the report, the driver even returned to the spot after realising something was wrong. But, by that time, all the culprits had already vanished.

A man posted the video and wrote: "In Agra, A Tempo Carrying Liquor Boxes Ovrlerturned, Some Boxes Spiled Out Of It, Instead Of Helping The Driver,  People AroundbLooted The Liquor Bottles In 5mnts. ou Can See Kids, Women, Old People And Bikers Stopping To Loot The Bottles. Morally Dead Society."

The owner of the liquor shop, where the delivery had to be made, said that the incident happened during the transit from Transport Nagar to his shop. Sandeep yadav, the shopkeeper, said that 30 boxes fell along the way, but he could not get them back as the locals who looted the bottles, fled the scene after taking advantage of the situation.

The incident has raised concerns over the law and order situation, prompting the authorities concerned to probe into the matter, including what led to the spilling and the theft thereafter.
