This Dutch multinational which is headquartered in Amsterdam was founded in 1891. The company has a diversified portfolio covering Health and well-being, consumer durables and other electronic items. Although the company had launched smartphones such as Sapphire Life V787 which had a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 441 pixels per inch, it is no longer available in the Indian market. At present Philips is selling Feature Phones.
