Xiaomi will announce the details regarding the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra availability in India will be announced on March 11 at 12 noon.

Xiaomi 15: Just ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, Xiaomi has introduced its latest flagship smartphones — the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15. These new devices bring a host of upgrades, including powerful Leica-engineered cameras and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioning them as strong contenders in the competitive premium smartphone market.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 15: Global Pricing and Availability

Xiaomi has set the starting price of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra at EUR 1,499 (approximately Rs. 1,36,100) for the base variant featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 15 is priced at EUR 999 (around Rs. 90,700) for the 12GB+256GB model.

While Xiaomi has unveiled these prices globally, details regarding their availability in India will be announced on March 11 at 12 noon.

Xiaomi 15: Specifications and Features

The standard Xiaomi 15 comes with a slightly smaller 6.36-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display, maintaining the same 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3200 nits. Like its Ultra counterpart, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and integrates the Qualcomm AI engine. The device is available with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and it includes similar AI-enhanced features as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

For imaging, the Xiaomi 15 is equipped with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP Leica main sensor with a Light Fusion 900 image sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Selfie lovers will appreciate the 32MP front camera. The device is backed by a 5240mAh battery that supports 90W HyperCharge, ensuring fast and efficient charging.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch AMOLED micro-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of 3200 nits. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device is powered by HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15 and incorporates several AI-driven functionalities, including AI Dynamic Wallpapers, AI Search, and AI Writing.

Photography enthusiasts will find the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s camera system particularly appealing. It boasts a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP Leica primary camera equipped with a Sony LYT-900 sensor, a 50MP Leica ultrawide lens, a 200MP Leica ultra telephoto lens, and another 50MP Leica telephoto sensor. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera is provided. Keeping the device running is a robust 5410mAh battery with support for 90W HyperCharge.

With both models featuring cutting-edge hardware, advanced AI-driven capabilities, and premium Leica camera technology, Xiaomi’s latest flagships are set to challenge rivals in the high-end smartphone segment.
