Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition — Pictorial Review
In terms of exteriors, the Kushaq Monte Carlo gets all the chrome removed with black accents, and various parts of the car painted black.
New Delhi: Skoda launched the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition yesterday and this is a special edition with the name being linked to the rally heritage of Skoda. The Monte Carlo edition also gets in more features and a sportier styling package than the compact SUV.
In terms of exteriors, the Kushaq Monte Carlo gets all the chrome removed with black accents, and various parts of the car painted black. The grille gets a glossy black surround while the roof comes in contrasting glossy Carbon Steel paint. Even the door handles are darkened chrome.
There is also Monte Carlo badging on the side plus new 17-inch alloy wheels- similar to the OCTAVIA vRS 245 sedan. These wheels surely look much more appealing than the standard Kushaq alloy wheels.
The rear gets more black/dual-tone accents with a Dual Tone Tailgate Spoiler and diffuser painted in gloss black.
Like the standard Kushaq, there are 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines with another visual change being the 1.5 TSI getting red brake calipers. The 1.0 on the other hand gets Start-Stop Recuperation.
The interiors get Red and Black Dual-tone Upholstery and Ruby Red Metallic inserts. The inserts are there on the dashboard to the center console along with also being at the front doors.
The Ventilated Red and Black Leather seats come with ‘MONTE CARLO’ inscribed on the headrests with even the 2-spoke steering wheel getting a leather wrap. Red ambient lighting further makes the cabin sportier.
The Monte Carlo edition of the KUSHAQ will start at an ex-showroom price of INR 15,99,000 while being available in two colours: Tornado Red and Candy White.
