Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition — Images, Price, Specifications
Hero Xpulse is inspired by the rally bike of Hero MotoSports plus in terms of styling there are unique graphics.
New Delhi: The off-road-ready Xpulse now looks better with motorsport colours thanks to the 200 4V Rally Edition. It is based on the Xpulse 200 4V itself but gets some cool additions namely more ground clearance along with an altered suspension. These are the crucial changes over the 200 4V and that also changes the looks to some extent.
As the name suggests it is inspired by the rally bike of Hero MotoSports plus in terms of styling there are unique graphics along with a nice red finish to the cylinder head. Further differentiation comes in the form of an autograph of Dakar racer, CS Santosh. These changes do make the bike cooler.
However, as said earlier there are changes beyond design with fully adjustable front forks with 250m of travel and a fully adjustable rear suspension with 220 mm of travel. This allows for more adjustability and helps tailor it to one's riding style. Then there is an 885 mm seat height along with 40 mm handlebar risers plus the 270 mm more ground clearance has now increased as well. Dual purpose tyres are also another highlight with the bike weighing in at 160kg.
The engine continues to be the 200cc single cylinder oil-cooled engine which generates 19bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed one.
The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition is going to be sold in limited numbers and can be booked online from 22-29 July via the company website. The question is should you? Well, the prices stand at Rs 1.52 lakh and that is a small increase over the Xpulse 200 4V while these changes actually make it more value for money along with making it a more unique choice with its changes.
