The morning ritual involves watering the Tulsi plant, while in the evening, a diya and incense stick are lit. During Tulsi Vivah, the union of Tulsi and Lord Shaligram is celebrated to invoke marital happiness and longevity.

This year, Tulsi Vivah will be observed on November 24. According to Drik Panchang, it falls on Dwadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Kartik.

Auspicious Time:

The Dwadashi Tithi starts at 9:01 PM on November 23 and concludes at 7:06 PM on November 24. The auspicious time for Tulsi Vivah is from 6:50 AM to 12:07 PM on November 24.

Customs:

Devotees initiate preparations in the morning after a bath, decorating their puja rooms and placing the Tulsi plant and Lord Shaligram side by side. Tulsi is adorned as a bride, while Shaligram takes on the groom's appearance. The priest performs wedding rituals with Tulsi and Shaligram. Devotees observe a fast until evening and prepare bhog items for the puja. After the puja concludes, the bhog is distributed among the devotees.
